Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Records Specialist to join our team at AGG Legal Staffing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electronic Data Management: Assist with the storage, retrieval, and retention of electronic client matter data, including conflicts checks.
  • File Processing: Process incoming electronic file materials by incorporating them into existing electronic workspaces or creating new folders and subfolders as needed.
  • Data Import/Export: Assist with the import and export of electronic client matter data.
  • Email Monitoring: Monitor email traffic for records requests, new matter creation, and close matter notifications.
  • Physical Media Management: Facilitate the check-in, check-out, monitoring, and storage of physical media containing electronically stored information.
  • File Organization: Process incoming physical file materials into physical matter files and maintain high-quality, accurate physical file organization.
  • File Transfer: Prepare closed matter files for shipment to offsite storage facilities and recall and return boxes as requested.
  • Client Matter Transfer: Process files for specified matters to transfer to clients or other law firms, setting dispositions in the file management system.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The firm offers great benefits and requires in-office work 5 days a week.
