Job Overview

The Human Resources Strategic Partner plays a pivotal role in coordinating and managing a variety of programs and initiatives across multiple Human Resource functions. Operating with a degree of autonomy under the guidance of senior HR professionals, this role encompasses various aspects of the organization’s compensation, benefits, recruitment, training, organizational development, and employee relations.



Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and evaluate data points (e.g., employee sentiment) to inform impact analysis and develop appropriate countermeasures.
  • Provide guidance and support to stakeholders in business decision-making and the implementation of effective strategies.
  • Facilitate the enhancement and formulation of company policies and procedures.
  • Communicate corporate initiatives as necessary.
  • Create a learning environment utilizing adult education techniques alongside classroom instruction to foster the development of future leaders.
  • Act as a strategic partner with departments concerning business plan themes or initiatives that may affect associates.
  • Assist the legal team with court proceedings and depositions.
  • Manage projects and provide support as assigned.
  • Advise on and coordinate compliance regarding Exempt and Non-Exempt associates with company policies, including exit interviews and leave of absence management.
  • Support Non-Exempt associates with policy management and address inquiries while ensuring positive employee relations.
  • Oversee the associate movement process and evaluate documentation to ensure alignment with company policies and budgetary constraints.



Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or Psychology.
  • 0-4 years of relevant experience based on educational background.
  • Proficient in Kronos, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and PeopleSoft.
  • Strong analytical and presentation capabilities.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.



Working Environment

  • Open-office setting.
  • Occasional travel (2-5 days annually) for training and special projects.
  • May require travel between various locations.
  • Potential for 2-5 hours of overtime per week.
