Core Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and support to management on recruitment processes, including reference checks and employment verifications.
  • Oversee training and development programs related to HR matters, including terminations, performance evaluations, and coaching.
  • Facilitate regular HR training sessions for all staff and management.
  • Ensure adherence to the organization’s conflict resolution policies and procedures.
  • Develop and clarify policies and procedures for employees and supervisors, ensuring uniform application.
  • Conduct routine audits of training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
  • Collaborate with various departments to review and update policies in accordance with current laws and best practices.
  • Maintain the HR Policies & Procedures and Employee Handbook.
  • Administer disciplinary procedures and investigate employee-related issues to make informed recommendations.
  • Manage all Workers Compensation and Unemployment Claims.
  • Assist with office management and administrative tasks.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and facilitate discussions.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and creativity in addressing changing needs and situations.
  • Capability to work independently on a diverse range of projects.
  • Proficient in building rapport and effective communication with various levels within the organization.
  • Adept at managing multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Minimum Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related business field.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in Human Resources.
  • Experience in benefits administration, performance management, policy enforcement, payroll, and workforce challenges is preferred.
  • Availability to work full-time and additional hours as needed to fulfill responsibilities.
