About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Business Development Director to lead our sales team at Whaling City Auto Group in Connecticut.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively communicate features and benefits to customers.
- Hire, train, and manage a team of sales representatives, providing coaching and support to improve performance.
- Monitor and analyze the sales process to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Build strong relationships with customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Work closely with the finance department to finalize deals and ensure accurate completion of paperwork.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience within the auto industry, with at least 3 year in a management role.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Proven track record of achieving sales goals and driving profitability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
