Strategic Business Development Leader

As a Strategic Business Development Leader at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will play a key role in identifying, qualifying, and prosecuting growth opportunities within the DoD. Your expertise in leveraging client relationships, market knowledge, and government acquisition best practices will enable you to position the firm for long-term initiatives that improve overall financial performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop, deliver, and present whitepapers, drive technical and acquisition client call plans, and other outreach efforts to qualify and inform pursue or no pursuit decisions. Your ability to demonstrate positive client relationships and a record of success in leveraging these relationships for opportunity wins will be essential in driving business growth. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing, qualifying, and prosecuting a growing pipeline of opportunities to win work and generate revenue and profit in accordance with defined business targets. Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and prosecute growth opportunities within the DoD
- Leverage client relationships, market knowledge, and government acquisition best practices to position the firm for long-term initiatives
- Develop, deliver, and present whitepapers, drive technical and acquisition client call plans, and other outreach efforts
- Develop, qualify, and prosecute a growing pipeline of opportunities to win work and generate revenue and profit
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business growth objectives
Requirements
- Experience in the DoD industry, including professional services and solutions
- Ability to work in a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to demonstrate positive client relationships and a record of success in leveraging these relationships for opportunity wins
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with project management
- Possession of excellent analytical skills
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Secret clearance preferred
- Master's degree preferred

Work Model
