Position Summary
The Experience Manager plays a pivotal role in the planning, sales, and execution of private and public events throughout the winter and summer seasons. This position requires hands-on management of all event operations and personnel, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience for all attendees. Additionally, the Experience Manager will be responsible for organizing and conducting internal and external sales meetings with designated teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Senior Experiences Manager to design and deliver exceptional experiences.
  • Pay meticulous attention to detail in event planning and execution, ensuring high standards of service and aesthetics.
  • Promote and sell ASPENX experiences through various channels, ensuring timely follow-up with potential clients and converting leads into sales.
  • Engage with the Senior Experiences Manager to develop new experiences, coordinating with partners and marketing teams.
  • Manage client relationships by providing customized offerings and addressing their needs throughout the process.
  • Assist in hiring staff for event execution in collaboration with the Senior Experience Manager.
  • Oversee staff on-site during events to ensure smooth operations.
  • Facilitate collaboration with key partners and brands.
  • Maintain effective communication with various departments within Aspen Skiing Company and Aspen Hospitality.
  • Provide feedback to management on products and procedures to enhance guest experiences.
  • Share knowledge of local mountains and conditions.
  • Monitor departmental budgets and analyze financial trends.
  • Complete assigned tasks and assist other departments as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Preferred college degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a guest service role.
  • At least 2 years of experience in event management.
  • Sales experience is preferred.
  • Managerial experience in an event context is preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bi-lingual candidates are preferred.

Work Environment
This role requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as the capacity to ski or snowboard at an intermediate level. The position involves both indoor and outdoor work, with exposure to various weather conditions.
