Job Summary

Aspen Skiing Company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Event Operations Crew Member to assist with the execution of various events throughout the season. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Event Marketing Operations Manager and Lead person with on-site event execution
  • Support the coordination of event logistics, including setup, registration, and tear-down
  • Provide exceptional customer service to event attendees, athletes, and sponsors
  • Collaborate with the Event Venue Manager to ensure seamless event execution
  • Perform various tasks as assigned by the Event Operations Tech Lead, including but not limited to, putting up signage, banners, fencing, and parking lot duty
  • Operate snowmobiles to shuttle athletes to and from competition start gates
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Current, valid unrestricted driver's license required
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience working in a physically demanding job preferred
  • Ability to ski/snowboard to worksite a plus
Work Environment and Physical Demands

The Event Operations Crew Member will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, often in adverse weather conditions. The ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds individually or with assistance is required. Regularly working/driving in bright sunlight and at night, exposure to noises that cause distraction, and walking on slippery and uneven surfaces are also expected.
