Position Overview:
The Senior Salesperson at SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA will undertake a variety of responsibilities within the MARK division:
- Act as a pivotal member of the US sales team to enhance client engagement and optimize returns.
- Establish and nurture strong client relationships by thoroughly understanding their requirements and aligning our offerings accordingly.
- Expand our client base within USTs/Agencies.
- Manage relationships with Multi-Strategy Hedge Fund clients focusing on Fixed Income Funding.
- Enhance our portfolios in Corporate Credit and Structured Credit.
- Collaborate with the PSC sales team to promote cross-selling opportunities.
- Proactively anticipate shifts in client needs and deliver innovative solutions.
- Provide extensive account management and client development while actively seeking new clients to boost revenue.
- Oversee client relationships, ensuring accountability for associated risks and revenue.
- Utilize data-driven analytics to propose optimal risk management strategies.
- Coordinate client pricing inquiries with various teams at SGS Société Générale: Trading, Engineering, and Middle Office.
- Interpret and relay client pricing requests accurately to the pricing team.
- Monitor the sales pipeline and generate reports for the team.
- Maximize profitability while judiciously managing the bank's exposure and complying with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and facilitate client-centric solutions grounded in financial expertise and awareness of organizational, technical, regulatory, and environmental factors.
- Address inquiries from clients, regulatory bodies, or business community members professionally, identifying acceptable solutions.
- Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of trade confirmations.
- Acquire in-depth market knowledge to offer comprehensive risk management solutions, create new offerings, and formulate persuasive recommendations.
- Conceive marketing strategies and assist in transaction initiation through effective presentation of financial data.
- Foster strong relationships with SGS research & strategy teams to accurately convey the Bank's perspectives on rates and currency markets.
- Support colleagues in resolving administrative and operational challenges.
- Comprehend the complexities of transactions and associated risks (credit, market, operational, legal/compliance, etc.).
- Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and reviewed regularly for precision.
- Operate within credit limits to prudently manage the Bank's exposure.
- Balance the Bank's risk appetite with client needs when making recommendations and proposals.
