The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Aircraft Fuel Systems Technician to become a vital member of our team. In this position, you will be instrumental in both production and maintenance activities, providing essential support across various functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute critical component replacements, including servo pumps, filters, and engine parts.
  • Interpret engineering schematics, technical orders, and process specifications to carry out structural modifications and repairs.
  • Utilize computer systems to access aircraft data and initiate online parts and discrepancy requests.
  • Maintain required certifications, licenses, and permits for assigned tasks.
  • Organize workload effectively to adhere to project timelines.
  • Operate all equipment following established safety protocols and operational procedures.
  • Diagnose and rectify malfunctions in assembly processes.
  • Employ precision measuring tools and instruments to verify dimensions and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Ascend and descend work ladders, navigate confined spaces, and lift loads up to 35 pounds.
  • Familiarity with Hazardous Energy and Lock Out/Tag Out systems is essential to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with team members from various disciplines (Avionics, Structures, Electrics) to meet cost and schedule objectives.

Work Environment:

This position is expected to be fully onsite. Candidates must be prepared to work at the designated location.

Security Clearance:

Applicants must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret clearance is necessary post-hire.

Assessment Requirement:

Successful candidates will need to pass an assessment during the training phase.

Adherence to Procedures:

Compliance with SA Tool and FOD procedures is mandatory.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience as a fuel tank aircraft technician.
  • Experience of 4 years in reading schematics, technical data, and work instructions.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts and adapt to changing schedules to meet mission needs, including potential overtime.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Depot Level and General maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to read and follow technical data, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
  • Experience with lock-out/tag-out procedures and Lower Explosive Limit (LEL) testing.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Candidates must reside in the immediate area or manage their own relocation.

Shift Details:

This role involves rotating shifts (1st/2nd).
