Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a qualified Integral Fuel Cell Inspector to join our team at The Fountain Group. This role involves performing critical inspections on integral fuel cell structures, ensuring adherence to established specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-process and final inspections of fuel cell components, verifying compliance with applicable drawings and specifications.
  • Perform thorough inspections of aircraft surfaces, including the application of sealants and adhesives, to ensure the integrity of fuel systems.
  • Assist flight line personnel in verifying fuel tank sealant repairs prior to aircraft fueling.
  • Document and report any discrepancies, ensuring proper identification and initiation of non-conformance processes.
  • Audit and manage time/temperature sensitive materials, ensuring compliance with specifications.
  • Conduct functional tests on aircraft components, documenting results and ensuring all installations meet required standards.
  • Engage in pre-flight and post-flight inspections, maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with aircraft systems and components.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and perform physical tasks, including lifting and climbing.
  • Familiarity with quality control processes and safety regulations.
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant license is preferred but not mandatory.

Work Environment:

This position requires working in various conditions, including elevated platforms and confined spaces. Candidates must be prepared for exposure to noise and must utilize personal protective equipment as necessary.
