Key Responsibilities

Remove and reinstall engines from turbofan and turboprop aircraft.

Utilize sound judgment and technical skills to make informed decisions regarding maintenance, troubleshooting, and resolution of discrepancies.

Conduct operational checks and engine runs to verify airworthiness before flight.
Inspect aircraft in accordance with OEM Light or Heavy Maintenance Manuals.
Assess removed components for serviceability and document any discrepancies.
Reinstall and test components post-inspection.
Troubleshoot and repair all airframe systems as necessary (hydraulics, landing gear, etc.).
May perform fuel tank sealing on aircraft.
Document all completed work in a clear and accurate manner.
Execute Service Bulletins, Repair Letters, and Airworthiness Directives as needed.
Interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints, technical documents, and schematic diagrams as required.
Adhere to and promote company policies and procedures while seeking continuous improvement.
Analyze various mechanical issues to determine the root cause and optimal repair method.

Test and adjust operations of engines, engine controls, propellers, landing gear, hydraulic systems, and flight controls as necessary.

Inspect and repair fuel, oil, oxygen, heating, cooling, and pressurization systems.
Utilize hand tools, precision measuring instruments, gauges, and calibration equipment.
Follow all safety, environmental, and housekeeping protocols.
May perform additional duties as assigned by the department.


Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate aviation, specifically with Embraer Legacy aircraft.

Eligibility

Qualifications:

Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude.
A valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License is mandatory.
Authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
Experience with a variety of hand and power tools is essential.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
Availability for second shift work, including overtime and weekends as required.
Capability to work outdoors in varying temperatures and inclement weather.
Ability to think clearly and communicate effectively in person and over the phone.
Proficiency in handling equipment of all sizes, tools, and computer systems.
Capacity to work in confined spaces.
Ability to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods.
Visual acuity for disassembly and inspection tasks.
Auditory skills to identify sources of mechanical issues.
Excellent hand-eye coordination is required.
Proven history of initiative in completing tasks and following directions accurately.

Must be able to stand for extended periods (8+ hours), lift up to 50 pounds unassisted, and perform physical activities such as walking, bending, stretching, and climbing ladders.

Preferred Qualifications

Aviation training is preferred, which may include military training, aeronautical academy, technical school training, or an Aviation Associate's Degree.

Factory-authorized training on specific aircraft or engines is advantageous.
