Key Responsibilities- Inspect and Screen Aircraft Equipment: Conduct thorough inspections of airline equipment to detect any unauthorized items.
- Screen Cargo and Passengers: Use designated equipment and methods to screen cargo and passengers, ensuring compliance with customer specifications.
- Monitor Aircraft and Airport Activity: Observe and monitor unit activity and facility surroundings, reporting any suspicious behavior to management.
- Perform Gate Guarding and Wanding: Conduct passenger wanding and gate guarding duties according to customer specifications.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with Operations Supervisors, Operations Managers, Leads, and Senior Leads to ensure seamless airport operations.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Background Check: Must pass an FBI fingerprint check and a confirmed 10-year background check.
- Physical Demands: Ability to bend, push, and lift up to 30 pounds regularly.
- Age and License: Must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid U.S. driver's license.
- Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
Work non-standard hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to adapt to changing airport conditions and priorities.
