Take charge of daily operations to maintain our reputation as a reliable provider of aviation repair and maintenance services. Collaborate with your team to implement effective processes and practices that enhance flight and product efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Remove and reinstall engines from turbofan and turboprop aircraft.
  • Utilize sound judgment and technical skills to make informed decisions regarding maintenance procedures, troubleshooting, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Conduct operational checks and engine runs to verify airworthiness prior to flight.
  • Inspect aircraft according to OEM Light or Heavy Maintenance Manuals.
  • Assess removed components for serviceability and document any discrepancies. Reinstall and test components after inspection.
  • Troubleshoot and repair various airframe systems as necessary (hydraulics, landing gear, etc.).
  • May perform fuel tank sealing on aircraft.
  • Document all completed work in a clear and accurate manner.
  • Execute Service Bulletins, Repair Letters, and Airworthiness Directives as required.
  • Interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints, technical manuals, and schematic diagrams as needed.
  • Understand, follow, promote, and continuously improve company policies and procedures.
  • Analyze mechanical issues and determine the most effective repair methods.
  • Test and repair/adjust engines, engine controls, propellers, landing gear, hydraulic systems, and flight controls as necessary.
  • Inspect and repair fuel, oil, oxygen, heating, cooling, and pressurization systems.
  • Utilize hand tools, precision measuring instruments, gauges, and calibration test equipment.
  • Adhere to all safety, environmental, and housekeeping protocols.
  • May perform additional duties as assigned by the department.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate aviation, specifically with Learjet.
Eligibility Criteria:
  • Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Experience with a variety of hand and/or power tools.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Availability for overtime and weekend work as needed.
  • Capability to work outdoors in varying temperatures and inclement weather.
  • Ability to think clearly and communicate effectively both in person and over the phone.
  • Proficiency in handling equipment of various sizes, tools, computer keyboards, and telephones.
  • Capacity to work in confined spaces.
  • Ability to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods.
  • Visual acuity for disassembly and inspection tasks.
  • Auditory ability to identify sources of mechanical issues.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • History of demonstrating initiative in completing job assignments and following directions.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods (8+ hours), lift 50 pounds unassisted, walk, bend, stretch, and climb ladders to service aircraft.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Aviation training is preferred, which may include military training, aeronautical academy, technical school training, or an Aviation Associate's Degree.
  • Factory-authorized training on assigned aircraft or engines is preferred.
