Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage regional business strategies and objectives aligned with the company's Momentum 2030 plan.
  • Lead the development and implementation of sales and aftersales plans, working closely with dealer development to achieve core regional KPIs.
  • Leverage reporting on regional performance to create forecasting and manage sales growth.
  • Partner with marketing and aftersales marketing to develop strategies that highlight the brand, attract and retain customers, and focus on regional markets and dealer partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop regional initiatives and strategies while maintaining compliance.
Leadership and People Development:
  • Lead and coach direct reports, enabling and encouraging them to provide opportunities for growth and development for their teams.
  • Mentor and train team members on company values and the achievement of short and long-term organizational and departmental objectives.
  • Provide guidance to region employees to help identify opportunity areas with dealers and assist with action plans focused on dealer improvement.
Financial Management and Oversight:
  • Manage and revise relevant regional budgets to ensure appropriate departmental investments and spending.
  • Control costs to maximize revenue and ensure budgets are maintained at planned spending levels.
  • Participate in RFPs and other vendor and cost sourcing to ensure the region is maximizing service and cost.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of progressive automotive wholesale/retail experience in positions such as District Sales Manager, Regional Dealer Network Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Regional Director, etc.
  • Ability to communicate persuasively and effectively at all levels of the organization, to be a thought leader and influencer internally, externally, and with dealer partners.
  • Advanced knowledge of IHS Markit systems and data (Catalyst for Insight), dealer network planning tools and process (Urban Science Ni2), and dealer financial analysis tools and process (Urban Science DBI).
  • Strong familiarity with laws, regulations, and resources for dealer network planning and operations (FLIS).
  • Prior retail dealership General Management/Operations experience.
  • Experience leading teams, coaching, and mentoring employees, and setting objectives/KPIs for teams and individuals.
