Head of Business Systems Management

In this pivotal role, you will spearhead a team of technology experts focused on essential business applications, particularly ERP, to enhance Redwood's operations in battery materials manufacturing, refining, and recycling.
Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the strategic direction and execution of these critical business systems and ERP functionalities, including Financial, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing.
You will be accountable for project outcomes, ensuring timely deliverables and adherence to schedules. Your role will involve collaboration with peers and executive leadership throughout the organization.As a rapidly expanding startup, you will have the unique opportunity to recruit and retain exceptional talent, significantly impacting our team dynamics, culture, and systems.
If necessary, the job level will be adjusted to align with the applicant's experience and responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, implementation, and management of the organization's ERP systems, including the selection of suitable software, customization, and integration with other platforms.
Engage with key stakeholders across the organization, including department heads and leaders from Finance, Logistics, and Material Flow teams.
Coordinate with Software, Process Controls, and IT teams to establish integrations across various platforms and applications utilized in our manufacturing processes (MES, LIMS).
Collaborate with other engineering and operations team leaders on business process and workflow design, including inventory management, material flow, logistics, and business planning.
Oversee the implementation and operation of vital business systems, partnering with various departments to ensure effective data integration, visualization, reporting, and automation for systems such as accounting, inventory management, work/sales orders, warehouse management, lab sampling, and quality controls.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience managing large-scale ERP systems, preferably Oracle Fusion, encompassing both implementation and operational phases.
Demonstrated leadership and project management capabilities, with a proven track record of leading complex technical initiatives.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster relationships at all organizational levels and present effectively to both internal and external executives.
Thorough understanding of established change control processes, environment management, and testing protocols.
