The Business Systems Manager plays a crucial role in the deployment, configuration, operation, and enhancement of business systems and platforms. This position involves analyzing intricate business challenges and developing automated solutions. The focus is on design, technical implementation, process optimization, and user training, ensuring that systems and platforms are effectively implemented and maintained to maximize return on investment.

This individual will serve as the primary administrator for the operational technology stack of third-party software utilized by team members. Responsibilities include troubleshooting issues and continuously enhancing systems to boost productivity and ensure accurate data reporting. A comprehensive understanding of business operations is essential, along with the ability to collaborate across departments to meet their needs while managing data integrity and hygiene.

Note: This position is fully remote and does not require relocation or visa sponsorship. We are currently unable to sponsor work visas. The team is globally distributed, necessitating flexibility in working hours.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical resource, collaborating across various functional areas from the conception to the implementation of business systems, with a strong emphasis on HubSpot/CRM modifications.
  • Oversee implementation, configuration, and optimization initiatives.
  • Identify gaps and provide technical insights into business requirements for system specifications, scaling systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Analyze user needs to customize and develop solutions that align with overall business strategies, including creating custom fields, workflows, and automations.
  • Design and enhance contact lifecycle management processes and sales workflows within HubSpot and associated go-to-market tools.
  • Document system requirements, define project scope and objectives, and assist in creating specifications that guide system development and implementation.
  • Develop and execute data management strategies to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators and assess the effectiveness of related initiatives.
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes with hardware procurement and reformatting.
  • Provide training and support to users across the organization, ensuring proficiency in leveraging system capabilities effectively. Stay updated on new HubSpot features and evaluate their potential impact on operations and strategies.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing HubSpot or equivalent CRM systems, business systems, and/or operations in a B2B SaaS environment required; 8+ years preferred.
  • Certification in HubSpot or equivalent CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot Certified Administrator, HubSpot Certified Marketing Software) is required.
  • Possess industry knowledge and understanding of best practices related to the configuration, deployment, integration, management, and maintenance of systems and platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to cultivate strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Proficient in project management principles, successfully managing projects of increasing complexity while ensuring deadlines, standards, and budget targets are met.
  • Ability to utilize logic and reasoning to evaluate alternative solutions, analyze costs and benefits, and implement effective solutions while managing resources efficiently.
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading a cross-functional Governance team dedicated to maintaining HubSpot data integrity, usability, and security, ensuring high-quality data for streamlined operations.
