Position Overview

The Supply Chain and Inventory Management Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and regulating the stock of finished consumer packaged goods to meet projected sales and planned distribution strategies. This role plays a crucial part in supporting the procurement and production planning teams as assigned.

This position comes with a comprehensive benefits package, an annual bonus potential, and flexible work hours. The role is primarily based on-site, with options for hybrid work arrangements at the company's discretion. The compensation range for this position is between $64,000 and $66,500.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generates, disseminates, and manages inventory reports, including short-coded, expired, and regular reports for all finished goods on a monthly basis.
  • Requests monthly inventory counts from warehouses and co-packers across the USA.
  • Facilitates adjustments and reconciliations in SAP for all actual inventories, including those in transit for items produced in Brazil.
  • Collaborates closely with teams in Sourcing, Finance, Contract Manufacturing, Logistics, and Quality Assurance.
  • Updates and monitors the master schedule to reflect inventory turnover, stocking decisions, forecasting, and administrative controls.
  • Maintains and refreshes the inventory management system.
  • Evaluates inventory levels, production rates, product demand, and shipping schedules to determine reorder points, ensuring product availability while minimizing inventory costs.
  • Creates and analyzes reports to identify trends or issues, supporting or initiating necessary actions or adjustments.
  • Prepares purchase orders, bills of lading, and other procurement documents as needed.
  • Oversees the creation and distribution of the Acai Drum & Pail report.
  • Assists with container details and inventory preparation for the monthly S&OP report.
  • May provide support to the Customer Service and Logistics teams as required.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred educational background includes an Associate or Bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in inventory management and procurement is required.
  • Experience in the food industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly SAP or similar platforms, is essential.
  • Strong skills in MS Office are required.
