Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the property manager in overseeing daily operations, focusing on resident satisfaction and retention.
  • Ensure compliance with operational guidelines as outlined in property management agreements.
  • Manage accounts receivable, including rent collection and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Prepare and submit timely financial and leasing reports.
  • Conduct audits of records to track lease expirations and delinquent accounts.
  • Handle eviction processes, including necessary paperwork and court appearances.
  • Facilitate apartment leasing as required.
  • Conduct property inspections to maintain safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Process resident move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals efficiently.
  • Support the property manager in training staff on leasing and operational procedures.
  • Prepare routine correspondence and documentation for residents.
  • Assist in resolving resident concerns and fostering positive relations.
  • Assume operational responsibilities in the absence of the property manager.
  • Adhere to all company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two to three years of experience in property management preferred.
  • Familiarity with resident lifecycle activities is essential.
  • Real estate license preferred or required in certain locations.
  • Experience with property management software, such as Yardi Voyager, is advantageous.

Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
