Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Apparel, Merchandising, Design and Textiles department at Washington State University as an Administrative Professional. The successful candidate will serve as the principal advisor to the Chair of the department and provide administrative, managerial, fiscal, personnel, and leadership support to the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional administrative support to the Chair and department staff
• Manage operational and administrative activities for the department
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient department operations
• Supervise and mentor staff to ensure high-quality performance

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or relevant field
• 4 years of progressively responsible management work experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Workday
• Knowledge of WSU business policies and procedures
