CNO Financial Group's Information Technology Division is seeking a Strategic Partner Program Manager who will be responsible for managing daily interactions with CNO IT's key collaborators, adhering to the 'Build One Team' philosophy. This role will supervise significant partner initiatives, including transitions and transformations, and will act as the primary escalation point for any partner-related issues or concerns. The Strategic Partner Program Manager will work closely with IT leadership to devise strategies, establish standards for contracting partners, and foster long-term partnerships. A crucial aspect of this role is to enhance team morale and productivity for improved execution of tasks and projects, ultimately leading to a superior user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, implementing, and managing large-scale programs with partners to enhance performance and engagement.
  • Assessing, monitoring, and analyzing partner performance; ensuring compliance with SLAs and KPIs.
  • Supervising and overseeing major partner transition or transformation projects.
  • Providing daily leadership in addressing partner issues and escalations.
  • Establishing standards and governance to optimize the performance and engagement of secondary partners.
  • Tracking partner resource capacity and utilization.
  • Maintaining effective communication and relationships with all partners to facilitate updates and policy changes.
  • Developing and sustaining standard contracting partners, roles, and rates.
  • Monitoring budgetary allocations and actual versus forecasted partner financials.
  • Collaborating with the Sourcing & Vendor Management Office (SVMO) to oversee partner performance and issues.
  • Managing the pipeline of potential partner SOWs and change orders.
  • Tracking key risk mitigation strategies.
  • Promoting a collaborative 'One Team' culture with all partners.

This position is ideal for you if you possess:

  • Experience in partner management, particularly with large offshore service providers.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of large program management principles and methodologies.
  • Proven ability to execute and lead IT transformation initiatives in complex environments, along with budget management skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach with a talent for building strong relationships.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Over 10 years of experience in IT and technology; previous roles in similar capacities within comparably sized organizations, including 3+ years in IT partner management.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written; proven ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Willingness to work during Central or Eastern time zone business hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in both corporate and partner environments, demonstrating the ability to thrive in diverse business settings.
  • Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills.

CNO embraces flexibility and encourages you to work where you are most productive. Associates living within a 60-mile radius of a corporate office have the option to work from that office. Those residing outside this radius may perform this role full-time from home within the United States, provided they are willing to work Central or Eastern time zone hours.

All associates may be required to travel to various corporate offices periodically. Work cannot be performed from outside the United States.
