Role Overview:
The Product Marketing Manager will report directly to the Vice President of Innovation, Marketing, and Consumer Engagement. This position is responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to the execution of comprehensive go-to-market strategies across multiple channels. The role is essential in ensuring that all product launches and marketing initiatives resonate with the brand's core values and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Development: Lead all facets of product development, from initial concept to market introduction, which includes vendor coordination, product testing, and design modifications.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership on innovation strategies and concept development.
- Formulate product claims and conduct necessary testing and surveys for both new and existing offerings.
- Oversee the reformulation process and manage relationships with external laboratories and manufacturers.
- Coordinate with Regulatory and Legal teams to ensure compliance and proper artwork updates.
- Manage the artwork process for timely launches and collaborate on visual concepts for presentations.
Omnichannel Marketing: Design and implement integrated retail marketing strategies that encompass all channels to enhance brand visibility, customer interaction, and sales across key retailers.
- Lead the brand calendar management process.
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns for product launches, including in-store and online promotions, ensuring alignment with brand objectives.
- Analyze customer journeys across all platforms to ensure a seamless experience from initial engagement to post-purchase.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment, ensuring timely execution within budget constraints.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to independently drive projects to completion.
- Collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring consistent messaging across all marketing channels.
- Data-Driven Approach: Leverage analytics and customer insights to guide product development and marketing strategies, assessing performance and driving improvements.
- Awareness of industry trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies accordingly.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure high-quality execution.
- Prior experience in product development and retail marketing is essential.
Educational Background:
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in marketing and product development within the beauty or consumer packaged goods sectors is necessary.
Work Environment:
- This position operates in a hybrid model, requiring in-office presence a minimum of three days per week.
