Job Summary

Leidos is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Strategic Account Executive to lead our U.S. Air Force business development efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with senior-level U.S. Air Force officials, identifying business opportunities, and developing strategies to capture new business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to grow Leidos' U.S. Air Force business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior-level U.S. Air Force officials, including key influencers and decision-makers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including capture of new contracts and expansion of existing ones.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the U.S. Air Force's missions, requirements, and priorities.
  • Collaborate with Leidos' technical experts to develop innovative solutions to meet the U.S. Air Force's needs.
  • Represent Leidos at industry events, conferences, and meetings with U.S. Air Force officials.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the U.S. Air Force's organizational structure, doctrine, and concepts.
Requirements
  • 20+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with a strong background in the U.S. Air Force or Department of Defense.
  • Proven track record of success in business development, with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with senior-level officials.
  • Deep understanding of the U.S. Air Force's missions, requirements, and priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with senior-level officials and technical experts.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Top Secret security clearance, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance as needed.
