Job Summary

Leidos is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Strategic Account Executive to lead our U.S. Air Force business development efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with senior-level U.S. Air Force officials, identifying business opportunities, and developing strategies to capture new business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow Leidos' U.S. Air Force business, including identifying new opportunities and developing relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior-level U.S. Air Force officials, including generals, colonels, and other key influencers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including RFPs, RFIs, and other procurement opportunities.
  • Develop and execute capture strategies to win new business, including developing proposals, presentations, and other marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with Leidos' technical teams to develop solutions that meet the needs of U.S. Air Force customers.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to Leidos' leadership team on U.S. Air Force business development efforts.
Requirements
  • 20+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with a strong background in U.S. Air Force business.
  • Proven track record of success in growing business and developing strong relationships with senior-level officials.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. Air Force organization, doctrine, concepts, and requirements.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans to grow business and meet customer needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior-level officials and technical teams.
  • Top Secret security clearance, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • Experience working in a complex, multi-faceted organization with a wide range of customer offerings.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of Leidos' products and services, as well as the U.S. Air Force's needs and requirements.
