Job Summary

Leidos is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Strategic Account Executive to lead our U.S. Air Force business. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining trusted relationships with senior-level U.S. Air Force officials, as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow Leidos' U.S. Air Force business, including identifying new opportunities and developing relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to U.S. Air Force customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business strategies, including marketing, sales, and delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure Leidos remains competitive in the market.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the U.S. Air Force's missions, goals, and priorities, as well as Leidos' capabilities and services.
Requirements
  • 20+ years of experience in a senior leadership role, with a strong background in government contracting and business development.
  • Proven track record of success in growing business and developing relationships with senior-level government officials.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of the U.S. Air Force's organization, doctrine, and requirements, as well as Leidos' capabilities and services.
  • Ability to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally, as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as business administration, public administration, or international relations.
  • Top Secret security clearance, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance as needed.
  • Experience working in a complex, multi-faceted organization with a wide range of customer offerings.
  • Strong network of contacts and relationships within the U.S. Air Force and government contracting community.
