Territory Sales Representative

Herc Rentals is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to join our team in North America. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and nurturing business relationships with companies and individuals within your designated territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily territory operations and revenue growth through visits to customer job sites and offices
- Develop a network of potential clients and maintain regular contact through phone and internet
- Plan and execute sales strategies to achieve desired results and goals
- Maintain and exceed sales quotas by renting and selling equipment consistently
- Understand customer needs and market conditions to provide effective solutions
- Penetrate customers at the strategic level to diversify the customer base
- Support all team members
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Promotions, Advertising Sales, or Business Administration preferred
- Proven track record of 3-5 years of outside sales experience in the industrial market and/or heavy equipment industry preferred
Skills:
- Ability to drive and operate multiple types of vehicles and equipment
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow up with customers in a timely manner
- Adaptability in unfamiliar environments
- Attention to detail
- Multi-tasking and project management skills
- Customer service focus
- Ability to react to changing business needs
- Solid computer skills, including MS Office
- Effective communication with all levels of the company
Compensation:
$70k - $75k
