Job Summary:

Gpac is seeking a highly skilled HVAC Service Manager to lead our residential and light commercial service operations. The ideal candidate will possess a solid technical background in HVAC systems, prior experience in service management, and a dedication to providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and guide a team of technicians, offering support and training as necessary.
  • Service Delivery: Ensure efficient and high-quality completion of all service calls.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor technician performance and productivity, implementing improvement strategies when required.
  • Scheduling and Dispatch: Schedule service appointments and dispatch technicians promptly.
  • Team Meetings: Conduct regular meetings with the service team to review performance metrics and address any issues.
  • Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of service calls, equipment installations, and customer interactions.
  • Customer Service: Manage customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations with professionalism.
  • Business Development: Develop revenue-increasing and customer satisfaction strategies.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments to enhance workflow and achieve company objectives.

Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: At least 5 years of HVAC Technician experience, with EPA Universal and/or TDLR certification.
  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated success in service management, showcasing leadership and team motivation skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Exceptional HVAC troubleshooting and repair skills with high technical proficiency.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal abilities with customers and team members.
  • Business Acumen: Proficiency in pricing, negotiation, and payment collection.
  • Technical Software: Competency in relevant computer software for scheduling and customer management.
  • Availability: Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility for varied working hours and on-call duty.
  • Professional Development: Commitment to ongoing professional development in the HVAC field.
  • Eligibility: Eligibility to work in the United States.
