Role Summary:
The Office Coordinator is responsible for delivering comprehensive administrative assistance in a bustling work environment. The ideal candidate will possess a solid grasp of standard office practices, demonstrate effective communication skills, and exhibit problem-solving capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and coordinate meetings, manage phone communications, and address in-person inquiries.
  • Facilitate travel arrangements and organize details for events and meetings.
  • Maintain calendars, prepare and proofread documents generated by others.
  • Compile, maintain, and analyze data for standard reports, charts, graphs, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Handle incoming calls, take messages, and respond to general inquiries.
  • Welcome visitors and provide routine information as needed.
  • Order office supplies and equipment as necessary.
  • Submit requests for repairs and technical support.
  • Monitor and update inventory, budget, and account records.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Support individual managers or departmental functions as required.
  • Assist in planning events with a broader departmental focus.

Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is preferred.
Familiarity with computer applications for word processing, data entry, and internet research is advantageous.
Working knowledge of office administrative practices and procedures is essential.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
Ability to communicate effectively through various means to perform assigned tasks and maintain safety standards is preferred.
Must be able to work collaboratively in a diverse workplace.
