Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Supervisor to lead our Americorps Program at Families and Youth Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising program members and providing leadership in the delivery of community care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with community stakeholders, including Las Cruces Public School staff, to ensure successful program implementation.
  • Identify and develop funding sources to support program revenue streams, including researching alternative funding opportunities and preparing grant proposals.
  • Ensure program compliance with state regulations, including CYFD Out-of-School-Time Licensing and CNCS policies.
  • Supervise and oversee program Site Supervisors and AmeriCorps Members to achieve daily service requirements.
  • Review and approve member Timesheets, Community Service Logs, Leave Requests, and Travel Expense forms.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a Child Development Associate Certificate (CDA) or comparable years of experience working with youth populations.
  • Must maintain a full certification in CPR/First Aid and CPI, as well as a valid NM Driver's License.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a school-aged child care growth and development setting, and 3 years of supervisor experience.
