JOB OVERVIEW

BHE GT&S is seeking a dedicated LNG Supply Chain Operations Coordinator to join our team.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The LNG Supply Chain Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in organizing and managing daily warehouse functions, ensuring that inventory levels align with operational requirements, and upholding internal protocols for the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials.

This position involves:

  • Coordinating warehouse activities and managing inventory effectively.
  • Planning the arrangement and efficient handling of materials within the warehouse, while maintaining a safe and orderly environment.
  • Receiving and inspecting materials, verifying accuracy against orders.
  • Establishing and maintaining procedures for the management of materials.
  • Acting as the site liaison for corporate supply chain initiatives.
  • Ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory standards related to supply chain operations.
  • Monitoring procurement activities and resolving issues to meet business needs.
  • Tracking critical materials for planned work and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Collaborating with maintenance teams to assess equipment status and manage obsolete materials.
  • Identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing improvements.
  • Providing analytical support through inventory optimization and business intelligence.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and labeling for warehouse materials.
  • Building strong relationships with various departments, including Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, and Administration.
  • Being available for on-call support to address operational needs.
  • Operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts, as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants should possess:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in warehousing and maintenance.
  • Experience with inventory management software such as Oracle, SAP, or Maximo.
  • A solid understanding of supply chain management and inventory control.
  • Basic knowledge of plant operations and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong project management and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

EDUCATION

A Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering is preferred. Candidates without a degree should have relevant work experience.


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Must maintain a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.
