The Healthcare Administrative Coordinator serves as the initial point of contact for our practice, tasked with optimizing patient flow, enhancing operational efficiency, and delivering comprehensive administrative support to our physical therapists and management team.

Key Competencies:
  • Outstanding organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong social and emotional intelligence.
Core Duties:
  • Welcome visitors and patients, manage check-in and check-out processes, and guide them to the appropriate staff.
  • Coordinate and confirm patient appointments.
  • Handle incoming phone calls.
  • Gather patient information and validate insurance coverage.
  • Digitally scan documents.
  • Manage faxes and electronic records.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and privacy compliance.
  • Assist with no-fault and workers' compensation claim verification and follow-ups.
  • Process medical records requests.
  • Utilize office equipment, including voicemail systems, and proficiently use word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Adapt to a flexible work schedule, including days and evenings.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Medical Front Desk Receptionist (preferred).
  • At least 1 year of experience in Insurance Verification (preferred).
  • Proficient computer skills (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Medent software (preferred).
