Position: Medication Administration Nurse

At Liberty Heights, we are committed to enhancing the quality of life for our residents through exceptional care and support. As a Medication Administration Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications to our senior residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications in accordance with the 6 rights of medication administration.
  • Maintain accurate records of all narcotics administered.
  • Oversee medication inventory management, including procurement and disposal of expired medications.
  • Conduct routine cleaning and maintenance of medication storage areas.
  • Regularly verify and update Medication Administration Records.
  • Provide essential personal and nursing care to residents as required.
  • Accurately document all relevant information pertaining to resident care.

Qualifications:

  • At least 6 months of experience in a senior care environment.
  • Possession of a state-specific QMAP certification is mandatory.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Professional demeanor with a positive attitude.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
