Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QMAP certified medication administrator to join our team at Senior Lifestyle Corporation. As a Medication Administration Professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications to residents in accordance with their individualized medication plans and the 6 rights of medication administration.
  • Count and document all narcotics administered to residents.
  • Manage the inventory of medications, including ordering, receiving, verifying, storing, and disposing of medications.
  • Perform daily cleaning and restocking of medicine carts and conduct weekly deep cleaning of med carts.
  • Verify and update Medication Administration Records (MARs) at change of shift.
  • Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, skin care, oral hygiene, grooming, dressing, incontinence care, and eating assistance.
  • Take vital signs, temperatures, blood pressure, and weights as needed.
  • Document all interactions and care provided in the daily log.
Requirements
  • At least 6 months of experience in a senior care setting.
  • State-specific QMAP certification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional and positive demeanor.
  • Strong attention to detail.
