Key Responsibilities :


The Senior Financial Audit Specialist will leverage their expertise in accounting, auditing, business management, finance, data management, information systems, and technology to support our client in enhancing financial accounting and reporting processes. This role is pivotal in fortifying the design and operational efficiency of internal controls while collaborating with essential client divisions such as Finance, Human Resources, Logistics, Budget, and Mission organizations to facilitate corrective action planning and mitigation strategies aimed at achieving the client's financial statement auditability goals.


Essential Qualifications :
US Citizenship and the capability to obtain and maintain a SECRET federal security clearance.

A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Data Management, Information Systems, Technology, or a related field pertinent to the business process area being supported.

A minimum of TWO (2) years of experience in accounting, auditing, business management, finance, data management, information systems, technology, or a related discipline relevant to the business process area being supported.

Ability to work on client site full-time or based on scheduled assignments.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience in the private sector or commercial environment in accounting, auditing, business management, finance, data management, information systems, technology, or a related discipline relevant to the business process area being supported.

General familiarity with Federal accounting and audit standards.
