Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Permanent Senior Auditor with a robust finance background to become a vital part of our team. This role presents a unique chance for an experienced professional to leverage their public auditing expertise, particularly in government and municipal sectors, as well as advisory capacities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of regulatory standards and accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS), adeptly managing multiple audit assignments concurrently while demonstrating a thorough knowledge of internal controls, risk assessment, and financial evaluation. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Auditor, your responsibilities will include:

1. Strategically planning, executing, and overseeing various audit projects to ensure timely and efficient completion.
2. Conducting comprehensive financial analyses and generating detailed reports for senior management review.
3. Utilizing your extensive knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other regulatory frameworks to guarantee compliance in all audits and financial documentation.
4. Collaborating closely with government and municipal entities, providing advisory services while building strong professional relationships.
5. Evaluating and enhancing internal controls, identifying potential risks, and implementing effective risk management strategies.
6. Offering guidance and mentorship to junior audit personnel, fostering a collaborative and educational atmosphere.
7. Keeping abreast of industry developments and regulatory changes to maintain our competitive edge.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate should meet the following criteria:

1. At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the finance sector.
2. A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline; CPA or CIA certification is highly preferred.
3. Proven track record in public auditing, particularly with government and municipal entities, as well as advisory roles.
4. In-depth knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and relevant regulatory standards.
5. Demonstrated capability to manage multiple audits effectively, showcasing excellent organizational and project management skills.
6. Strong understanding of internal controls, risk assessment, and financial analysis methodologies.
7. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly.
8. A collaborative team player with a proactive mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, and keen attention to detail.
9. Proficiency in auditing software and related technological applications.
