Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable and Receivable Coordination: Act as the primary coordinator for all accounts payable and receivable activities. This includes auditing invoices and related documentation for accuracy and completeness, and resolving discrepancies prior to processing.
  • Transaction Processing: Input accounts payable transactions, ensuring all entries meet the required standards for accuracy, including organizational codes and approval signatures.
  • Payment Processing: Manage invoice payments using departmental purchasing cards, adhering strictly to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain comprehensive records of all voucher files and contracted services.
  • Liaison Duties: Serve as the main point of contact between the Finance & Accounting Section and external entities, including the Central Office Disbursement Unit.
  • Research and Support: Conduct necessary research in response to inquiries from staff, providing guidance on invoice and payment processing.

Administrative Functions:

  • Prepare and code invoices for payment.
  • Handle travel authorization and reimbursement requests for staff.
  • Serve as a liaison for vendor-related accounts payable issues.
  • Compile and submit billing to relevant county authorities.

Vital Statistics Responsibilities:

Act as Deputy Registrar for vital records, ensuring timely filing of all necessary documentation and serving as a liaison with various stakeholders in accordance with applicable statutes.

Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay informed of current policies and procedures relevant to the role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
