Role Overview:

The Senior Audit Remediation Consultant will leverage their expertise in accounting, auditing, business management, finance, data governance, information systems, and technology to assist our clients in enhancing financial accounting and reporting procedures. This role is crucial in fortifying the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls while collaborating with key client sectors, including Finance, Human Resources, Logistics, Budget, and Mission organizations, to facilitate corrective action planning and mitigation strategies aimed at achieving the client's financial statement auditability goals.

Essential Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship and the capability to obtain and maintain a SECRET federal security clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Data Management, Information Systems, or a related field pertinent to the business process area being supported.
  • A minimum of TWO (2) years of experience in accounting, auditing, business management, finance, data management, information systems, or a related discipline relevant to the business process area being supported.
  • Willingness to work on client site full-time or as per scheduled assignments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the private sector or commercial environments in accounting, auditing, business management, finance, data management, information systems, or a related discipline relevant to the business process area being supported.
  • A general understanding of Federal accounting and audit requirements.
