Job Overview
Are you experienced in providing support for daily administrative tasks and assisting the Human Resources department?

The HR Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring effective communication within the HR team. This position also acts as a point of contact for new employees who may have questions during their onboarding process, as well as for the broader employee community. The responsibilities of this role include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting with the job requisition process, including opening, posting, and closing positions, as well as drafting offer letters.
  • Overseeing the onboarding process for new hires and transfers, which includes gathering necessary paperwork, arranging equipment, and creating identification.
  • Completing I-9 documentation, conducting e-verification, and performing background checks as required, ensuring that all relevant information is communicated to the corporate office, payroll, benefits, learning and development, and the employee's electronic file.
  • Managing and verifying the timely processing of employee changes (such as promotions and title adjustments) and acting as the primary liaison with the payroll department to ensure accuracy.
  • Facilitating the completion of termination paperwork and managing the offboarding process.
  • Serving as a resource for employees, addressing any inquiries related to onboarding and supporting 30-day check-ins.
  • Administering the tuition reimbursement program and tracking employee referral bonuses.
  • Contributing to the HR team's objectives, including diversity initiatives, training, talent development, and engagement strategies in collaboration with leadership.
  • Identifying process improvements to enhance team communication and ensure the HR function operates efficiently.
  • Collaborating with business, technology, and office experience leaders to manage workspace, remote work initiatives, IT, and facilities.
  • Assisting with ad hoc HR data reporting, audit requests, and coordinating interviews for special projects related to People & Culture as necessary.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in administrative support, human resources, or related fields.
  • Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred; a degree in Human Resources or relevant internship experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel, with a solid understanding of Windows-based applications.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to understand business needs, take initiative, and demonstrate strong interpersonal abilities (both written and verbal).
