Job Overview

Position Title: Human Resources Administrator

Role Summary:

The Human Resources Administrator plays a vital role within the HR team, overseeing the daily operations of the Human Resources department. This includes managing talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, and organizational development while upholding company policies and practices. The administrator also provides ongoing support to management in various employee-related issues, including employee relations, training and development, and maintaining staff morale and company culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts recruitment processes, interviews, and facilitates the onboarding of qualified candidates for open roles; collaborates with department heads to identify necessary skills and competencies for positions.
  • Executes routine tasks essential for administering human resource programs, which encompass compensation, benefits, leave management, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, performance management, and employee training.
  • Addresses employment-related inquiries from candidates, employees, and managers, directing complex or sensitive issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Advises employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related inquiries. Ensures adherence to legal standards and internal policies, including maintaining and updating employee handbooks.
  • Employs HR software and databases to enter, update, and retrieve employee information. Generates reports and analyzes data to inform decision-making and identify trends or areas needing attention.
  • Assists in organizing and coordinating training sessions, workshops, and employee development programs.
  • Works in conjunction with the HR Coordinator to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. Aids employees with benefits enrollment, modifications, and inquiries.
  • Stays informed about trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Performs all related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and sit.
  • Frequently required to use hand and finger dexterity while typing.
  • Regularly required to communicate verbally and audibly.
  • Occasionally required to lift, push, or carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
