Position Overview

The HR Operations Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the Human Resources functions at Eataly North America. This position is essential for managing various HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement, while reporting directly to the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP).

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the HRBP and HR Generalist to implement a comprehensive People strategy throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Stay informed about staffing requirements and monitor progress on open roles.
  • Manage the recruitment process via the Applicant Tracking System: posting job openings, sourcing candidates, screening applicants, coordinating interviews, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Organize in-store recruitment events and engage in job fairs to attract talent.
  • Prepare and send offer letters and onboarding documentation; follow up with new hires regarding their start date and orientation.
  • Assist in conducting new hire orientation and facilitate the onboarding process, ensuring new employees complete necessary paperwork.
  • Maintain employee records through the Human Resources Information System, including documentation of training, status changes, and separations.
  • Support the setup and execution of training sessions, employee meetings, and staff development programs.
  • Act as a point of contact for employees, fostering engagement activities and addressing inquiries.
  • Promote awareness and utilization of Eataly’s benefits offerings.
  • Assist the HRBP with data analysis and reporting metrics.
  • Conduct and evaluate exit interviews to identify areas for process improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant state and federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, ideally within Human Resources or Talent Acquisition.
  • Experience in high-volume environments, particularly in the restaurant or hospitality sector.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven capacity to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • A keen interest in advancing a career in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition.
  • Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable.
