Heavy Equipment Supervisor

Dal Industries, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Rigger and Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a small team of riggers and machinery movers, ensuring safe and efficient execution of projects, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Project Execution: Safely and efficiently execute projects in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Team Leadership: Lead and supervise junior riggers, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development and success.
- Customer Service: Maintain effective communication with customers, ensuring their requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Equipment Management: Utilize high-capacity forklifts, skates, jacks, and other equipment to rig and move heavy machinery, ensuring proper maintenance and upkeep.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with best practices in the rigging and machinery moving industries, sharing knowledge with team members to enhance overall performance.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct pre- and post-project inspections, ensuring equipment is in good working condition and reporting any issues to the Director of Field Operations and Maintenance Director.
- Additional Responsibilities: Serve as a backup VersaLift delivery/pick-up driver for our sister company and perform other duties as assigned.
- NCCO Rigger 1, 2, and Signalman Qualifications: Required for this position.
- Class A CDL with No Restrictions: Required for this position.
- Minimum 5 Years of Experience: As a rigger, with at least 3000 documented rigging hours.
- Strong Mechanical Reasoning and Spatial Awareness: Ability to understand complex machinery and develop effective solutions for rigging and moving equipment.
- Situational Awareness: Ability to anticipate and mitigate potential hazards, ensuring safe and efficient project execution.
- Excellent Attention to Detail and Problem-Solving Skills: Required for this position.
- Ability to Lift Heavy Objects and Perform Physically Demanding Tasks: Required for this position.
- Authorization to Work in the United States: Required for this position.
- Pass a Drug Screen and Background Check: Required for this position.
