We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team at McCoy Construction & Forestry. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy equipment fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, oil changes, and repairs, to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
- Diagnostic Testing: Conduct diagnostic tests to identify and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Repair and Replacement: Perform major and minor repairs, including engine repairs, transmission work, and electrical system repairs.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of repairs performed and equipment maintenance history.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer needs and resolving equipment issues in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair, preferably in the construction and forestry industry.
- Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, ability to work with diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
