Position Summary
The Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient handling of the Asphalt Plant Assembly.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and load asphalt plant machinery for delivery to client locations.
- Exhibit proficiency in operating various heavy machinery, including other product lines from the company.
- Commit to ongoing training to enhance skills in operating additional equipment.
- Adhere to company policies and safety protocols consistently.
- Maintain regular attendance and fulfill other assigned duties as required.
- Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
Essential Activities
- Engage in continuous training to achieve competency in operating new equipment.
- Understand transportation regulations and freight compliance.
- Perform job duties outdoors, requiring significant physical activity.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven ability to operate multiple heavy machinery is essential.
- Relevant certifications will be evaluated, and training documentation is required.
- Knowledge of transportation and freight compliance is mandatory.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in setup and construction is preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalent certification is required.
- NCCO Certification is preferred.
- Rigging Certification is advantageous.
- Familiarity with plant setup and checkout procedures is a plus.
- Must demonstrate teamwork and collaboration skills.
