Position Summary

The Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient handling of the Asphalt Plant Assembly.


Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and load asphalt plant machinery for delivery to client locations.
  • Exhibit proficiency in operating various heavy machinery, including other product lines from the company.
  • Commit to ongoing training to enhance skills in operating additional equipment.
  • Adhere to company policies and safety protocols consistently.
  • Maintain regular attendance and fulfill other assigned duties as required.
  • Willingness to work overtime as necessary.

Essential Activities
  • Engage in continuous training to achieve competency in operating new equipment.
  • Understand transportation regulations and freight compliance.
  • Perform job duties outdoors, requiring significant physical activity.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven ability to operate multiple heavy machinery is essential.
  • Relevant certifications will be evaluated, and training documentation is required.
  • Knowledge of transportation and freight compliance is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in setup and construction is preferred.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent certification is required.
  • NCCO Certification is preferred.
  • Rigging Certification is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with plant setup and checkout procedures is a plus.
  • Must demonstrate teamwork and collaboration skills.

Leadership Expectations
  • This role does not involve supervisory responsibilities.
