Field Service Technician for Heavy Machinery Responsibilities:

  • Conduct maintenance and repair operations on substantial heavy construction machinery, focusing on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and various other systems.
  • Employ a variety of techniques and tools for precise diagnostics and effective repairs to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Carry out assigned duties with minimal requirement for rework.
  • Safely manage tools and service equipment.
  • Order necessary components and materials to complete work tasks.
  • Consistently follow all company safety protocols.
  • Complete all required documentation, including timekeeping, collection records, service operation reports, and maintain pertinent records, images, or other materials as necessary.

Job Requirements:

Field Service Technician for Heavy Machinery Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy construction machinery is essential.

  • At least 1 year of field experience in repairing heavy construction machinery from specified types and/or manufacturers is required.

Types of Heavy Machinery:
excavators, compactors, wheel loaders, haulers, dumpers, motor graders, asphalt pavers.

Manufacturers of Heavy Machinery:
Volvo, CAT, John Deere, Komatsu, Bergmann, Leeboy, or Bell heavy machinery.

  • Additional vocational or technical training in heavy machinery maintenance is preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to pass DOT physical and MVR requirements.
