Job Summary and Qualifications

We are looking for a Cardiac Care Registered Nurse PRN to join our team, ensuring that we maintain high standards of quality and efficient patient care.

Responsibilities:


- Coordinate nursing care for assigned patients within the unit to ensure quality care delivery.

- Apply the necessary knowledge and skills to provide care tailored to the physical, psychological, educational, safety, and related needs of patients across various age groups.

- Deliver professional nursing care, exercising independent judgment while utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

- Provide leadership by collaborating with ancillary nursing staff and other members of the patient care team to uphold professional nursing standards in the clinical environment.


Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate's or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- A minimum of 6 months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse in a hospital setting is required.

- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (those with a Compact License must obtain a Texas RN License within 90 days of hire).

- American Heart Association BLS Certification is mandatory.
