Role Summary
The Registered Nurse in the CV IMU plays a critical role in coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-focused care. You will work collaboratively with medical professionals to provide both pre-operative and post-operative nursing care, advocating for patients to ensure an exceptional healthcare experience.
Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will:
- Assess patient conditions upon admission and throughout each shift, promptly reporting any changes.
- Execute medical procedures as directed by healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care in medical records.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
- Stay informed about medications, procedures, and equipment relevant to cardiac and medical-surgical care.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
- A degree from an accredited nursing program.
- A valid Registered Nurse License in Texas or a Multi-State Compact License.
- Preferred experience of at least one year in an acute care environment.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
