Job Summary and Responsibilities

As the Cardiac Cath Lab Nursing Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality, efficient patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with the Director to oversee departmental operations and align with the facility's mission and values.
  • Leading performance improvement initiatives to enhance quality of care.
  • Ensuring nursing practices are evidence-based and continuously evaluated for effectiveness.
  • Providing clinical guidance and support to nursing staff.
  • Planning, implementing, and assessing patient care within the Cardiac Cath Lab.

Qualifications Required

  • A minimum of three years of experience in an acute care environment is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a Cath Lab setting is advantageous.
  • At least one year of management or Charge Nurse experience is required.
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program is essential.
  • Current Registered Nurse License in Texas or a Multi-State Compact License is necessary.
  • American Heart Association BLS Certification is mandatory.
  • ACLS certification must be obtained within six months of hire.
