Role Responsibilities and QualificationsAs a Registered Nurse, your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional, patient-focused care in accordance with departmental standards and state regulations. You will collaborate with healthcare providers and the care team to ensure a holistic and compassionate approach to patient care, adhering to established nursing protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patient conditions upon admission and during each shift, promptly addressing any changes in health status.
- Execute medical procedures and document care accurately in patient records.
- Administer medications as prescribed, monitoring for therapeutic effects and responding to any adverse reactions.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding medical conditions, treatment plans, and medications, ensuring clarity and understanding.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within the first month of employment.
- Current Registered Nurse license.
- Minimum of 12 months experience in an acute care setting.
- Registered Nurse diploma or equivalent.
