Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing patients for ultrasound procedures, obtaining and reviewing necessary information, and performing diagnostic imaging procedures following established protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures
  • Obtain and review necessary information for scans
  • Assist patients during exams and ensure their comfort and safety
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures following established protocols
  • Monitor patient reactions and report any changes to the medical team
  • Provide education to patients regarding procedures and care
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain equipment cleanliness
  • Process and maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Stay updated on industry advancements and participate in continuing education
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed

Requirements

  • Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program
  • Active certification in relevant specialties
  • Compliance with Continuing Medical Education requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and imaging techniques
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Adherence to professional and ethical standards
