We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at Perfect Placement Group, LLC. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial close processes, as well as providing analytical support to our management team.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Close and Reporting: Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures, including journal entries and general ledger reviews, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Financial Analysis: Perform a variety of general to complex accounting and financial analysis functions in support of departmental duties, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Team Leadership: Coach and mentor less experienced accounting staff and help them resolve problems, while also assisting in the development of streamlined internal control processes.
- External Audit Support: Coordinate deliverables and act as a primary contact for the annual external audit, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Special Projects: Handle special projects, taking full responsibility for their successful and timely completion, and drive process and reporting improvements and standardization efforts.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
- Experience: 3+ years of progressive responsibility in accounting, with a strong understanding of complex accounting concepts and analytical skills.
- Licenses and Certifications: Licensed CPA or successfully working toward obtaining CPA license.
- Skills: Strong accounting skills, familiarity with accounting research tools, and high proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Competitive Compensation: Annual salary range of $92,000 to $95,000 or more, depending on experience, education level, and annual bonuses.
- Benefits Package: Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, company-paid short-term and long-term disability, company-paid life insurance, tuition reimbursement, and traditional and Roth 401(k) plans with company matching contributions.
