Role Summary:
The Culinary Operations Leader will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen facility. This position involves managing kitchen staff to ensure compliance with food safety standards, maintaining high-quality food production, timely service delivery, and effective cost management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a diverse team of culinary professionals.
- Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Monitor and improve kitchen performance metrics in alignment with company objectives.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee engagement.
- Manage kitchen operational costs while maximizing revenue opportunities.
- Ensure the efficient operation of kitchen facilities, including maintenance and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Proven operational experience in the hospitality or food service industry.
- Minimum of one year in a managerial role within food and beverage operations.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and vendor relations.
- ServSafe Manager certification is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with ERP systems.
- Excellent culinary knowledge and leadership skills.
- Strong organizational and communication abilities.
- Reliable transportation is essential.
